I had a dream.

Or perhaps a nightmare... This text concerns my vision of the management of our planet, nature and our lives. Fires, pollution of water, land and others. Massacres, physical, ideological, cultural, influence, commercial and other religious wars. Societal inequalities, access to culture, influence peddling, slavery, human trafficking, drug trafficking. Climate change, heat waves, air pollution, water pollution, land pollution, food pollution, brain pollution.

Unemployment, poverty, precarious jobs, harmful social relations. False information, manipulation of opinion,

Disgusting factory farms, cancers, diseases. Lure of profit, social position in society, tax evasion, lies, betrayals, manipulations.

Culture of emptiness, misplaced egos, fake social media accounts, electoral fraud. Attacks, assassinations, rapes, territorial conquests, prostitution.

Always more production of cars, tires, planes, rockets, boats, oil, solar panels, phones, computers, minerals, etc etc etc... For a while, I thought that producing always more books was a disaster because we produce them with trees and in case of errors, we cannot update them, but, finally, with the use of the internet and computers, I realize that it is worse. Every data that we put on the internet gradually fills the data centers. The extraction of the components of your devices is polluting. As is their recycling.

Ever-increasing production and infinite growth may not be the solution. Degrowth seems inevitable to me to avoid a global catastrophe. Let's make the rich less rich and the poor less poor. Education and culture are the greatest treasure we have. Let's take a walk in the woods. I will update this page as long as possible. Thank you for reading.
